Today on The Pro Page, I’d like to introduce you to a simple Project Management tool I built on Notion. I have spent the last 36yrs in construction and have owned a plumbing contracting business, fence business, and the last decade was spent building spec homes at over 8 figures in annual revenue per year.

During my time, I used most of the tools out, other than ProCore. They were usually either far too simple, or far too complicated most of the time. In my final two years I developed this Contractor OS tool using Notion.

Contractor OS brings together the essential tools a contractor needs, without the fluff. It’s built around four key interconnected databases; that keep your job sites running smoothly, no matter who’s sitting at the desk.

Core Features of Contractor OS:

• Projects: Organize and track every job in one place. No more scrambling to figure out where each project stands or what needs attention.

This version is the foundation—a simple, effective tool to get organized and manage projects without the bloat. But for those looking to level up, there’s more on the horizon.

Future versions will expand on this framework with features like a fully integrated CRM to go beyond just contacts, and ultimately a complete suite with advanced tools like charts, time tracking, and automation options. While the exact roadmap is still shaping up.
